At Age Up Health we are taking a number of precautions to ensure that the risks associated with receiving care during Covid-19 are reduced. While many in home aged care providers have cut back on services during Covid-19, Age Up Health has found new ways to provide care safely.
Fully trained staff
Our care companions have all completed the government training in Covid-19 prevention, and have access to full PPE including gloves and masks that can be worn when providing care. You will be matched with a single care companion as per our usual policy, and so the risk is further reduced by limiting your exposure to multiple people.
All of our allied health and nursing services are available both in-home and via telehealth. We can arrange to lend you an ipad for your session, which will be conducted one-on-one through a secure video call.
Good Morning phone calls
We have temporarily suspended our in-person community and lifestyle activities, however we are staying connected with our clients through a number of technology supported pathways. Our Good Morning phone calls can be arranged daily or weekly from one of our friendly community team members, so you can rest easy that Mum is staying connected during isolation.
